What an amazing 50th Anniversary Gator Band Alumni Reunion weekend! We hope all the festivities along with a Gator victory brought back some great memories of your days as a member of our Gator Band family!

 

On behalf of the Gator Band Alumni Association Board, we would like to thank you for attending this historic Gator Band Alumni Reunion Weekend. This year, we had 314 alumni in attendance, 280 alumni marchers hailing from 22 states and spanning 8 decades of membership in the Gator Band. During halftime, we marched alongside the Gator Band with over 680 musicians on the field! We also had 7 Virtual Reunion attendees who were able to join our Friday night rehearsal from home! 

 

Let’s send a huge GBAA thank you to Jay Watkins and his amazing Gator Band staff for rolling out the "orange and blue" carpet and making us feel like we were "Home”. Thank you to our partners at the College of the Arts Advancement Team, and a huge thank you to the UF Alumni Association for their assistance with the weekend celebration.

 

We hope you had a blast seeing old friends and meeting new ones. We can't wait to do it all again next year with even more alumni band members! Remember, next year is 50 + 1 of the Gator Band Alumni Association. We don’t need a special number to remember some of the best years of our lives. Every year is special when you are an alumni of the Gator Band! Just come...and bring just ONE alumni who hasn’t made it back to The Swamp lately!
